i'm talking to mattgreen about big brother. i'm explaining that i could never go on that programme because my tattoo would give me away.
alicey: somebody would ask me why i got it and once i told them, every ex-boyfriend i'd ever had would come crawling out to the papers.
mattgreen: you'd have to make up some other reason.
alicey: i couldn't do that!
mattgreen: of course you could. all you'd have to do is stand up and start shouting, (mattgreen shakes his fist in the air) l5r! l5r! l5r!!

Your reason for getting a tattoo is the most constant and memorable thing about you? Or have I understood this even less than I was meant to?
Hmm. Er, this entry doesn't really make any sense now I read it again.
It was part of a conversation about how I would trust my more recent ex's not to go to the papers and make up giant lies, because most of them were actually alright. It's the people I dated when I was 17 or 18 I'd be worried about. I was saying how it'd be easy for them to drag out a few pictures to prove they really knew me (and my tattoo would give it away).
L5R, a card game along the same lines as Magic, has a clan called the Scorpion Clan. It has a symbol similar (but DIFFERENT) from my tattoo. A few years ago at GenCon, people kept asking me if I was a member of Scorpion Clan. I was not amused - L5R players are weirdos, and their game involves stamping, clapping, shouting and waving flags.
So, er, that's a bit of explanation. Somehow it doesn't seem so funny anymore. Tsk.

See, that's what you get by messing with me. Photos of you and Ms. Thirring.
